A Kingsway backyard rebuilt as a four-season courtyard: outdoor kitchen, fire lounge, and heated stone walkways.
We regraded the entire lot to resolve chronic drainage toward the foundation, then installed a permeable interlocking system over an engineered base with snow-melt loops at the main walks.
The outdoor kitchen runs granite counters, a built-in grill and smoker, and weatherproof cabinetry under a cedar pergola with integrated lighting.
Planting follows a layered evergreen structure so the courtyard holds its architecture through Toronto winters.
