A century Rosedale residence rebuilt from the studs while preserving its protected Edwardian facade.
Working within Toronto Heritage guidelines, we gutted the interior to the brick, re-engineered the rear structure for a 24-foot glazed opening, and threaded modern mechanical systems through original chases.
The centrepiece kitchen pairs a honed Calacatta waterfall island with rift-cut white oak cabinetry, concealed servery, and brass detailing fabricated by our millwork shop.
The owners remained in a rental for just 11 months — our phased permit strategy allowed structural and finishing crews to overlap without idle weeks.
